4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped

1 teaspoon lemon zest
Salt and black pepper to taste

Once the oven is preheated, place the baking sheet with the salmon on the centre rack. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets, so keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.

5.

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the salmon hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired, and accompanied by lemon wedges for squeezing additional lemon juice over the fish.
