Eggs are one of the most versatile ingredients you can have in your kitchen. They are packed with nutrients and can be cooked in so many different ways. From omelettes to frittatas, eggs are a staple in breakfast dishes all over the world. But have you ever thought of adding pesto to your eggs?

Pesto is a classic Italian sauce made from basil, garlic, pine nuts, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese. It’s traditionally used as a pasta sauce, but it can also be used as a marinade or a spread. Adding pesto to your eggs is a simple way to give them a burst of flavour and a unique twist.

Pesto Eggs are a great breakfast dish for those who love a savoury and herby flavour. The basil in the pesto gives the eggs a fresh and aromatic taste that pairs perfectly with the creamy texture of the eggs. The dish is easy to make and takes only a few minutes, making it perfect for busy mornings or lazy weekends.  To make Pesto Eggs, you only need a few ingredients: eggs, pesto, salt, pepper, butter, and optionally heavy cream. The result is a delicious breakfast dish that’s packed with flavour and nutrients. Pesto Eggs can be served with a side of toast, bacon, or avocado, or eaten on their own. They are also a great way to use up leftover pesto.
